ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Delta Air Lines on Thursday started daily nonstop service from Alaska to Atlanta for the summer season.
Delta is the first airline to offer nonstop service from Anchorage to the hub of the Southeast. The airline will offer one flight a day each way.
The airline said the flight aboard a Boeing 767 will provide travelers from Europe and Latin America an easy connection to Anchorage.
The new flight will operate through Sept. 30, 2000.
