Soldotna High School is hosting the Stars 14-and-under volleyball camp from June 9 to 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The camp focus is on teaching fundamental skills and having fun. The cost is $75 and participants receive a T-shirt. The camp is limited to 30 participants.

The fourth annual "Rally for the Cure" golf tournament will tee off at 10 a.m. on June 28 at Birch Ridge Golf Course. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
Women of all skills levels can participate in the tournament. There will be a live auction, silent auction, raffles and door prizes on the day of the tournament starting at about 1 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
There also will be a $500 cash drawing on "Rally for the Cure" raffle tickets. Tickets are one for $10 or three for $20, limited to the sale of 300 tickets. Proceeds go to Central Peninsula Health Foundation to assist local breast cancer patients.
A barbecue chicken dinner will be available for $10. Call by June 27 to sign up for the barbecue.

MIHS of Canada will be returning with its program to the Soldotna Sports Center from June 15 to 21. The program features skill development for Pee Wees and Bantams as well as a junior and college prep camp for elite 94 to 90s. The weekend of June 19 will offer MIHS of Canada's sixth annual Elite Junior and College Showcase Camp. There will be coaches from Canadian Junior A, Junior B, the United States Hockey League, NCAA Division I hockey programs and the Kenai River Brown Bears. The showcase has limited spots.
