Lyme disease is topic

Kay Shearer will share the story of her battle with Lyme disease and host afree presentation of the documentary "Under Our Skin" at 6 p.m. Monday the Kenai Senior Center, 361 Senior Court in Kenai.

Child care info available

The Ninilchik Traditional Council will host a child care program information meeting at noon June 11 at the group's conference room in the administration building across from the general store. For more information, call Chris at 567-3313.

Donations wanted

Donations are being accepted at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10046 at 134 N. Birch St. in Soldotna for the third annual garage and bake sale slated for June 19 and 20. Proceeds go to support local veterans and community services. Call the post at 262-2722 for more information.

Vendors sought

The Kenai Peninsula Bed and Breakfast Association Solstice Music Festival is accepting applications for vendor booths and musicians to perform. Booths may be food, arts and crafts or carnival type games. Musicians also are needed.

The event will take place at the Diamond M Ranch Resort on Kalifornsky Beach Road from noon to 8 p.m. June 21.
