Man not wearing seat belt dies after rolling SUV on a curve

ANCHORAGE (AP) An Anchorage man died Monday in a single-vehicle accident near Big Lake, Alaska State Troopers said.

Kenneth L. Rushing, 72, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle when he lost control on a curve and left the roadway, troopers said. The vehicle rolled and came to rest on its roof.

Troopers were notified of the accident around 2:30 p.m. Rushing was not wearing his seat belt and died at the scene as a result of his injuries, troopers said.
