Posted: Wednesday, June 04, 2003

Past Soldotna Chamber of Commerce President, Lisa Wimmer, Assistant Vice President Business Banker at Wells Fargo in Soldotna, is moving up to Bethel Alaska to take on the position as Branch Manager in Bethel. Wimmer served as the president of the Soldotna Chamber for the year of 2002 and plans to put that experience to good use in Bethel, "We have some sadness about leaving the Kenai Peninsula, but Bethel is a very close knit community, they have a Chamber of Commerce and several other youth activities, so I'm looking forward to continuing my volunteer efforts," said Wimmer. Wimmer will be joining her husband who has flown for ERA Aviation out of Bethel for the last two years, "It's a progress for both our careers and we're looking forward to having more time together," added Wimmer.

Chamber President Barbara Elson presented, at last weeks meeting, Wimmer with a plaque of appreciation for her service and dedication from the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
