Honey baked peaches with cream

4 fresh peaches, halved, pitted and peeled

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons water

4 teaspoons light brown sugar

1 tablespoon butter, plus more for greasing baking dish

Ground cinnamon

Heavy whipping cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Lightly grease a shallow baking pan with butter, then place the halved peaches, cut side up, in a single layer.

Melt 1 tablespoon butter and combine with honey; stir in brown sugar and water and mix until sugar is dissolved.

Drizzle honey mixture over the peach halves, then sprinkle tops with cinnamon.

Bake, covered, for 25-30 minutes, or until peaches are tender, basting frequently with the honey in the pan.

Serve warm with cream.

Serves 4.
