The Central Peninsula Health Foundation would like to thank the Kenai River Brown Bears for their efforts to raise funds to support local cancer patients.
During Cancer Awareness night at a home game in February, Brown Bears fans gave generously during an auction of pink game jerseys. In just the past two seasons, the organization has donated nearly $20,000 to CPHF to help fight this devastating disease. Sincere thanks to the fans, players, Coach Oliver David, General Manager Nate Kiel and Brown Bears founder Barry Schoenly for your incredible dedication to helping oncology patients receiving treatment right here at home.
