FAIRBANKS (AP) -- A Delta Junction man convicted of assaulting seven boys was sentenced to 21 years, nine months in prison Tuesday.
Matthew Pease-Madore, 20, was convicted of 19 counts in March.
The charges included multiple counts of sexual assault, sexual abuse of a minor, solicitation for sexual abuse of a minor, and attempted sexual abuse of a minor, all felonies, plus indecent exposure.
One 10-year-old Fairbanks victim encountered Pease-Madore at a church camp at Harding Lake, 45 miles south of Fairbanks.
Pease-Madore told Superior Court Judge Jane Kauvar that he was sorry for all the people he hurt.
Kauvar told Pease-Madore his young age kept him from receiving a life sentence.
