Immunization clinic today

The Kenai Public Health Center will hold a public immunization clinic today at 3 p.m. The center is at 603 Barnacle Way, Suite A. For more information, call 335-3400.

O'Hara to speak at Kenai chamber

Tom O'Hara, general manager for the 2004 Wood Buffalo, Alberta, Canada Arctic Winter Games host society, will be the special guest at the Kenai Chamber of Commerce luncheon today at noon at Paradisos Restaurant. Also speaking at the luncheon will be Kenai Mayor John Williams, who will present the Kenai city budget, and Rep. Ken Lancaster, R-Soldotna, who will give an update on the Alaska Legislature. Mile 45-60 project meetings canceled

The Sterling Highway Mileposts 45-60 project meetings, scheduled for Friday and Monday, have been canceled. The meetings will be rescheduled for later in the summer. For more information, visit or call (907) 274-2000.

2002 Central Peninsula Air Fair planned

The 2002 Central Peninsula Air Fair will take place Saturday. A fun flight will be held, and prizes will be awarded. Following the fun flight, a barbecue will be held at Kenai Municipal Airport. For rules or a registration form, visit, the Kenai or Soldotna airport or call 283-7951.

Red Cross to hold CPR class

The American Red Cross will hold its monthly CPR and first aid class Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Building. Cost is $58. For more information or to preregister, call Debra Holle at 262-4541.
