Marijuana seized in Big Lake

BIG LAKE (AP) -- Drug agents seized marijuana and growing equipment from a home in Big Lake Tuesday.

Alaska State Troopers said the Mat-Su narcotics unit seized 35 plants, drug paraphernalia and one firearm from the home on Burma Road.

No arrests were made, but troopers said charges were being forwarded to the District Attorney's office.

The Mat-Su Narcotics Unit is made up of Alaska State Troopers and local police.
