Swim lessons offered

The Skyview High School pool will offer swimming lessons on the following dates: Session 1 continues through June 16; session two runs June 19 through 30; and session three runs July 10 through 21. For more information, call 262-3905.

Art, music festival set

KDLL will host its annual art and music festival from 3 p.m. to midnight June 21 at the Diamond M Ranch at Mile 16.5 Kalifornsky Beach Road. Food, art, crafts, games, horse and buggy rides and music are some of the planned events. There is no admission or vendor fee.

Nikiski senior events, menus set

The Nikiski Senior Citizens Center will host the following events this week: Today — fundraiser meeting at 1 p.m., club house at Retha’s at 1 p.m.; Thursday — pinochle and hand and foot at 12:45 p.m.; Friday — yoga at 3 p.m., game night at 6; and Monday — book study at 10:30 a.m., blood pressure checks at 11:30 a.m., pinochle at 12:45 p.m.

The center’s menus for this week will be: Today — French toast or liver and onions, potato casserole, spinach; Wednesday — scalloped potatoes, chicken, mixed vegetables; Thursday — pork pot roast, vegetables, dinner rolls; Friday — chicken noodle soup, egg salad sandwich; and Monday — creamed eggs and bacon over biscuits, hash browns.
