JUNEAU (AP) -- The assistant manager at the Fairbanks International Airport will serve as acting manager starting July 1.
Jim Fiorenzi takes over for Doyle Ruff, who is retiring.
Fiorenzi has worked for the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities for 20 years, including 14 at the Fairbanks airport.
Fiorenzi worked as business manager from 1988 to 1997 before being named assistant airport manager.
Fiorenzi graduated from the Air Force Academy with a degree in management. He served in the military for more than six years.
