Robin Kay Notter

Robin Kay Notter died Friday, June 2, 2006, at her home in Soldotna. She was 48.

Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. today at the Soldotna Bible Chapel, 300 W. Marydale Ave. in Soldotna. Pastor John Rysdyk will officiate. Mrs. Notter’s ashes will be scattered at Hidden Lake and in Woodsfield, Ohio, at her mother’s grave.

Mrs. Notter was born Jan. 27, 1958, in Aurora, Colo. She graduated from Marietta High School in Marietta, Ohio. Mrs. Notter moved to the Kenai and Soldotna area in 1989 and furthered her education by receiving a two-year degree in cosmetology at John Anthony’s Styling Academy in Soldotna. She worked for various insurance companies in Kenai and Soldotna as well as working as a hairstylist for Signatures Salon in Soldotna, where she worked for the last 13 years. Mrs. Notter attended the Soldotna Bible Chapel and volunteered and donated to The LeeShore Center.

“Robin will be remembered most for her ability to love unconditionally. She helped people with whatever they needed. She was caring and honest, loved her husband and family. With her job as a stylist she was able to help people find beauty in themselves. She had a strong work ethic that conflicted with her deteriorating health. Robin will be missed by all that knew her and she will be forever in our hearts,” the family said.
