Former Kenai resident Patricia Ann Bronner died Sunday, May 31, 2004, at her home in Central Point. She was 74.
A funeral service for was held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 4, at Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel in Medford, Ore. Graveside services followed in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. A reception was held at the family home.
Mrs. Bronner was born Patricia Ann Sylvester on April 7, 1930, in Carroll, Iowa. On Jan. 2, 1959, in Sunnyvale, Calif., she married Harold E. Bronner.
Mrs. Bronner lived in Kenai for 24 years. She worked for the state of Alaska as a clerk typist for 10 years. She was a volunteer at the Kenai Community Library and the Kenai Chamber of Commerce. She moved to the Rogue Valley area in Oregon in 1996.
Mrs. Bronner enjoyed sewing for family members and others, making wedding dresses and tailored suits. She and her husband spent 20 years square dancing, and she also enjoyed playing piano, knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; daughters, Paula Collette Smits of San Jose, Calif., Tamara Lynn Bronner of Kenai and Lisa Ann Huddleston of Warrenton, Ore.; sisters, Ruth Jones of Jefferson, Iowa, Faye Pepin of Motley, Minn., and Peggy Cox of Prole, Iowa; and grandchildren, Abigail, Joe and Anna Huddleston and Khelby and Gretta Bronner Kennedy.
Arrangements were made by Memory Gardens Mortuary in Medford.
