KCHS leaders deem students, staff, community class acts

To the Kenai Central High School community:

Summer has begun. Students already are into their summer routine, and the staff has left the building. There now is a moment to reflect on the past school year.

First and foremost, Mr. Fields and I would like to thank the entire school and community for the welcome that we received. We truly feel appreciated and valued as members of this school and community.

We would like to publicly thank the wonderful group of students who on a daily basis make this a great place to work. The way our students treat each other and the members of the staff says a great deal about their character. Our kids are class acts.

Our staff at Kenai Central High School is second to none. This is a dedicated group of people who put what is in the best interests of students first on a daily basis. The professionalism displayed this past school year allowed the real work of KCHS to take place: teaching young people.

Our students benefit from families that have high standards for their students. Stepping up for our kids and this school is a way of life for this community. We are proud to be here. To our students, staff, families and community, thank you for all that you do on behalf of our school.

Alan Fields, assistant principal
