Alaska pioneer Thelma Elizabeth Murto died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, surrounded by her family and friends at South Peninsula Hospital Long Term Care in Homer. She was 90.
A gathering in her honor will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at the Anchor Point Senior Center.
