Donations aid students in need

On behalf of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District's Students in Transition Program, I would like to recognize our Soldotna Fred Meyer store. Customers and store associates generously contributed to the Fred Meyer Fund via coin boxes placed at the registers, resulting in an awesome donation of $5,353.55 to our program. These funds will be used to address a variety of needs for homeless students across the Kenai Peninsula. Thank you to all who gave -- you are sincerely appreciated.
