JUNEAU (AP) A Juneau man was arraigned Monday on 17 felony charges related to a sexual relationship that prosecutors say started with a teen when she was 14.

Frederick L. Wigg, 48, is charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor, seven counts of unlawful exploitation of a minor and seven counts of possession of child pornography.

The girl, now 17, told the Juneau Empire that she pursued charges against Wigg earlier this month because he ended their three-year relationship.

According to court records, Wigg began a sexual relationship with the girl while she was baby-sitting at his home. Wigg also is accused of illegally photographing the teen.

Wigg's trial is set for Aug. 25.
