Family grateful for community support

The family of David Goggia would like to thank all those who attended the fund-raiser May 21 to benefit expenses incurred during his recent burn accident. A special thank you to the very generous donations given during the dessert auction. And most of all, a huge thank you to Joe Rizzo for organizing the fund-raiser and his Drop of the Hat Players for their extremely funny and talented Readers' Theatre renditions.
What a joy it was watching such a talented group of young adults perform.
At times like these when tragedies occur, it makes us very proud that we live in such a wonderful community as Kenai.
