Gov. Frank Murkowski will visit the Kenai Peninsula next week, making a stop at the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce's weekly luncheon at noon Tuesday.
While at the chamber, Murkowski plans to sign the state's education bill into law, as well as speak on state fiscal policy and the special legislative session.
In order to accommodate the governor's visit, the chamber luncheon has been moved from the Riverside House to the Soldotna Sports Center. Cost of the luncheon is $10, and the public is welcome to attend.
