Golf tourney fundraiser set

The Birch Ridge Golf Course and the Golf Association will host a Rally for a Cure golf tournament at 2 p.m. today in Soldotna. It will be a nine-hole scramble. The cost is $60.

Participants are asked to wear pink clothing. Barbecue, awards and prizes will follow the tournament. For more information, call 262-5270 or 262-1560.

Hawaiian luau fundraiser planned

The Soldotna Senior Citizens Center will host its annual Hawaiian luau at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Kaluha pork, Mana Kalani ribs, Caribbean salad bar and haupia are some of the planned dishes. Entertainment, door prizes and a grand prize are some of the planned events.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Tickets are available by advanced purchase only. For more information or a reservation, call 262-2322.

Golf tourney slated

The Peninsula Moose Family Center will host its 11th annual Ray Husby Golf Classic at 8 a.m. June 17 at the Bird Homestead Golf Course. The format will be a four-person scramble. Men play on white tees and women on red tees. Mulligans are available.

Art, music festival set

KDLL will host its annual art and music festival from 3 p.m. to midnight June 21 at the Diamond M Ranch at Mile 16.5 Kalifornsky Beach Road. Food, art, crafts, games, horse and buggy rides and music are some of the planned events.
