ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An Anchorage man has been charged with first-degree domestic violence assault after stabbing his wife with a 6-inch hunting knife, Anchorage police said Tuesday.
The woman is in fair condition after surviving the stab wound to her abdomen.
Police released no names, citing domestic violence victim rules.
The couple had been drinking heavily with another man outside of their apartment. Police said the couple got into an argument over money.
The woman was stabbed inside the apartment but managed to walk to a neighbor, who called police.
The man is being held on $50,000 bail.
