Oil spill sentences shows questionable logic

Last week, the man who shot a hole in the pipeline was sentenced to 16 years in prison. He spilled 265,000 gallons of oil.
Fourteen years ago, Joe Hazelwood tore a hole in the Exxon Valdez on Bligh Reef. He spilled 11,000,000 gallons of oil. He spent three summers washing vegetables at Bean's Cafe.
Those are deep pockets on the gown of Lady Justice.
