Support provided lesson in leadership

Posted: Monday, June 12, 2006

I recently represented Soldotna High School at the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference from May 19th to May 21st in Anchorage.

My trip was made possible by the generosity of Jason Nunn and Grant Aviation who provided my roundtrip airfare from Kenai; Soldotna High School PTSA for providing my registration fee; and Alan and Cheryl Peterson, owners of The Popkorn Factory, who donated flavored popcorn for our Alaskan troops in Iraq.

I would like to thank these organizations for their commitment to student leadership in our community.
