Cook Inlet Salmon Brand will distribute insulated fish totes to area H permit holders from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Pacific Star Seafoods and Kenai River Seafoods

The AmVets Post No. 4 in Soldotna will hold a garage and bake sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the AmVets property across from Kenai River Nursery on Kalifornsky Beach Road (look for the signs).
Donations are being accepted and are tax deductible. Items may be dropped off at the AmVets center in the Red Diamond Center or call to have donations picked up. Profits will be used to purchase building supplies for the group. Items need to be dropped off by today.

A spaghetti benefit dinner will be held for the family of Ayden-Star Enders, who died in an accident June 1. A Kenai-ready, 50-horsepower, four-stroke Yamaha longshaft motor is being raffled off to raise funds to benefit Marcus Yamada, who is undergoing treatment for leukemia at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Tickets are $50 each, and only 300 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be Sunday at Bridges in Soldotna.
