ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A Kodiak man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a Kodiak police officer earlier this month.

Alaska State Troopers said Dexter Christensen was arrested Tuesday in Anchorage.

Christensen, 21, is a suspect in the June 6 stabbing of Kodiak police officer Terry Ash. Ash was off duty when he was stabbed while confronting several people who were causing a disturbance outside his home.

Christensen had not been charged Wednesday in connection with the incident, but was being held on $10,000 bail at Cook Inlet Pre-trial Facility.

Troopers said the search is continuing for another suspect in the case. Investigators said that suspect is also thought to be in Anchorage.
