Homer man dies after truck overturns

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A Homer man died Thursday night after his pickup truck overturned in a ditch.

The 51-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was speeding and lost control of his truck at Mile 3 East End Road, according to Alaska State Troopers.

Trooper said the vehicle went into a ditch and landed on the man.

Troopers received the accident call at 10:16 p.m.
