Visiting evangelist featured in revival

Sandi Querin, an evangelist from California, will speak at free revival meetings. She will speak Sunday at 11 a.m., Monday through Friday at 7 p.m. and June 17 at 11 a.m. at Upper Room Ministries at the Red Diamond Center in Soldotna.

It is open to the public.

Sterling VBS starts Monday

The Sterling Baptist Church vacation Bible school for children ages 4 to 12 begins Monday. Held at the church on the corner of Swanson River Road and the Sterling Highway, the school will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon through June 22.

The theme for this year is "FROGS," which stands for forgiveness, respect, obey, give thanks and serve.

Kenai Christian Church will hold a Soncreek Junction Round-up with free music, skits, games, crafts, food and a petting zoo June 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
