Hospital Service Area Board to meet

Junior golf clinic to start

Birch Ridge Golf Course in Soldotna will hold a skilled junior golf clinic today through Friday. The program will give juniors the opportunity to compete in the state competition. For more information, call 262-5270.

KPFA to meet

Solstice celebration planned

The Seldovia's Summer Solstice Music Festival will be held Friday and Saturday. Performers include Muriel Anderson, Tracy Grammer and Dave Carter, Robin Hopper, Mike Campbell and other nationally acclaimed musicians and Kenai Peninsula artists both evenings at 7 p.m. Workshops also are planned Saturday afternoon. All festival tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for school-age children. Tickets for individual events also are available. Book donations needed

Garden plots available

The city of Kenai and Cooperative Extension Services have garden plots available in the community gardens in Kenai. Anyone interested must supply seeds, starts, a hose, be willing to keep the plot free from weeds and clean it in the fall. For more information, call 262-5824.
