How do I tell you
How much you mean
For teaching me things
Like the Star Trek theme?
For telling me to 'not give up'
And helping me along
(Even when I didn't want it)
With a hug and a song.
For playing those games
Like Barbies and house,
And bravely saying 'no'
When I asked for a mouse.
For coming to the sports
Every single event.
For cheering and being silent,
Even when you wanted to vent.
For showing me that being smart
Is not a bad thing,
But sarcasm can get you in trouble
Even when your King.
I can't really repay
All those things you've done.
All I can do is say 'thanks,
I love you a ton.'
