Work continues in the effort to get the gas line project flowing from the North Slope.

Joe Marushack, vice president of Alaska North Slope Development for ConocoPhillips Alaska, says the actual movement of gas could be under way within 10 years. That's a good reminder that these projects cannot and do not happen overnight. It also means there's a lot of things that can go right or wrong in the meantime.
