West Coast salmonid species listed as threatened or endangered

The following 14 salmon and steelhead species are listed as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act, and are covered by the 4(d) rule released Tuesday by the federal government:

--South-central California coast steelhead
--Snake River Basin steelhead
--Lower Columbia River steelhead
--Upper Willamette River steelhead
--Middle Columbia River steelhead
--Central Valley California steelhead
--Oregon Coast coho
--Hood Canal summer-run chum
--Columbia River chum
--Puget Sound chinook
--Lower Columbia River chinook
--Upper Willamette River chinook
--Ozette Lake sockeye
