Watercolor artist to show new prints

Sharon Freeman's watercolor painting, "Shasta Parade," left, recently won a viewer's choice award at the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society juried exhibition.

Freeman, a watercolor artist, will be at Sassafras in Soldotna from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday to display her original paintings, sign prints and introduce her new, limited-edition reproductions of the wildflowers and summer scenery of Alaska.

Freemen specializes in painting the scenery and wildflowers of Alaska. She has won awards in several watercolor shows.

Sassafras is in the Eureka Mall on the Sterling Highway, just before the bridge, in Soldotna.
