Ninilchik resident Diana "Lady Di" Lynn Zimmerman died Sunday, June 19, 2005 surrounded by her family at Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna. She 40.
A celebration of Mrs. Zimmerman's life will be held at noon Wednesday, June 22 at the Carol Bock Hall at the Ninilchik Fairgrounds.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born Nov. 24, 1964, in Seattle, Wash.
She spent the majority of her childhood in Renton, Wash., and graduated from Liberty High School in 1983. She moved to the Kenai Peninsula in 1991.
Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by her husband, Kevin Zimmerman of Ninilchik; children, Steven Miller, Kyle and Sarah Zimmerman; father and stepmother, Gene and Judy Hancock of Renton; mother and stepfather, Jan and Norman Johanesen of Anderson Island, Wash.; sister, Cindy Hancock of Renton; brother, Gene Hancock Jr. of Renton; stepsisters, Gina Walker and Judi Stushek, both of Gresham, Ore.; nieces, nephews, cousins, family in-law, aunts, uncles and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Zimmerman's memory to the Diana L. Zimmerman memorial fund for Kyle and Sarah at Wells Fargo, 11216 Sterling Highway, Soldotna, AK 99669 or to the Ninilchik Emergency Services, P.O. Box 446, Ninilchik, AK 99639.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
