Free again

One of two snowy owls takes flight as a pair is returned to the wild in Barrow, Alaska, in June 2001, after being nursed back to health at the Raptor Rehabilitation Center in Sitka, Alaska.

Members of the Boys and Girls Club of Barrow helped release the birds, a young female and a male which were found injured or starving over the winter in Barrow.
