Oilers get first ABL win

The Peninsula Oilers ended their losing streak Sunday at Mulcahy Field in Anchorage, beating the Anchorage Bucs 5-2.

Oilers pitcher Roger Lincoln got the win.

Lincoln had a no-hitter through 5 1-3 innings and left with one out in the sixth and two runners on board. Adrian Schau came in to relieve Lincoln and pitched Anchorage's Casey McGehee into a double play to end the threat.

The Oilers were led by hitting from Preston Griffin with a double, Andy Schutzenhofer, also with a double, Daniel Underwood with three hits, includung a double, and Brian Wahlbrink, who had two hits, one of them a double.
