Support makes projects happen

The support for our community makes it possible for our school to have special projects and events with students. Our annual spring carnival is a community event that raises funds for our Halibut Cove and Anchorage Zoo trips.

Many thanks to all parent volunteers for their time and effort to support this event. A thank you, as well, to Anchorage Cold Storage-Coca Cola, Airgas of Kenai, John and Jacquie Steckel, Fireweed Herb Garden, Pizza Boys, Subway, Kenai McDonald's, Body Mind and Spirit, Flower House, Safeway, Gallery 25, Kenai Police Department, Allen and Petersen, Country Foods and Doug Sears of the Hyatt Regency Kauai Hotel and Spa Resort for their generous donations of goods and services.

Our carnival co-chairs, Laraine Hanson and Barbara Ralston, along with our raffle chairs, Nicole Shelden and Kelli Stroh, deserve thanks for their many extra hours and great effort for this event.

The Kenai business community and parent volunteers are important to the success of our school and educational endeavors. Parent volunteers continue to play an important role in school each day and for special events, Kenai and peninsula businesses continue to support our school even when times are tough and sales are down. We much appreciate the great support our school receives.
