George C. Muoio
Former Kenai and Auburn, Wash., resident George C. Muoio died Monday, June 20, 2005, in Seattle. He was 75.
A funeral vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 26, in the Church Convent Chapel, a funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 27, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn, and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.
Mr. Muoio was born in Beaver Falls, Pa. He was a resident of Sumner, Wash., for 15 years. He lived in Kenai for 27 years, leaving in 1990.
Mr. Muoio served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. He retired from the FAA in 1986 after 29 years. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. Muoio of Sumner; sons, David J. Muoio and his fiancee, Piper, of Issaquah, Wash., Nathan G. Muoio of Pullman, Wash., and Matthew E. Muoio of Allentown, Pa.; and brother, Joseph Muoio of Allentown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be sent to the Church School Endowment Fund.
