Troopers release identity of crash victims

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Alaska State Troopers have released the identities of the victims of a car crash Sunday afternoon on the Taylor Highway.

Driver Dae Hong Min, 62, of Vancouver, British Columbia, died in the crash. Passenger Ling-Hui Yang, 49 of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, is in stable condition at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Both were wearing seat belts.

Troopers received a call on the crash at 2:20 p.m. and Tok emergency medical personnel reached the scene at about 3:30.

Troopers said Dae Hong Min apparently lost control on a downhill section. The van crossed the road, flipped and crushed him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
