We would like to thank Kenai Peninsula merchants and Kenai Central High School junior class parents for your generous gifts and donations for the Kenai After Prom 2003. This year's After Prom was a huge success with 185 seniors, juniors and their dates attending. The games and activities provided much entertainment as the many prizes were given away.
We are so fortunate to live in a community where the focus is keeping our young people safe, while offering them opportunities and alternatives to that special prom night.
Your support was truly overwhelming. Every teenager walked away with a gift or cash prize that night.

Thank you to Jim Beeson, KCHS teacher and coach, who always spends the entire evening with the kids helping out. He is a staff member who deeply cares about the well-being of our kids, and we thank him for his support. Mr. Beeson had great trivia questions, which proved to be a popular game during the night.
Thanks to the city of Kenai and Kenai Recreation Center staff, who donate the facility to us at no cost and are always available to lend a hand.
We also would like to thank Virginia Smith, Laura Sievert, Clint Chappell, Gina Kuntzman, Steve Stanton and Walter Stanton for cooking breakfast and cleaning up; and the Kenai Elks for the facility.
The junior class greatly appreciated the help that we received from Dennis Dunn, Alan Fields, Tim Delaney, Rich Bartolowits, Connie Jung, Lisa Gabriel and Judy Burkevich. They donated many items for the evening, as well as their time.
Many thanks also to every junior class parent who donated time, talent, money and-or food for an incredible evening your kids are still talking about.
A very special thank you to those of you who spent many hours planning the event and also staying up all night. You were an incredible team!
