Kids' reading program ongoing

Triumvirate Bookstore in the Peninsula Center Mall in Soldotna is hosting a Frequent Reading Program. Kids may sign up at the bookstore, pick out one free book, a reading calendar and program rules. Kids are encouraged to read a book, bring their calendar to the bookstore, get it punched and pick up another free book.

Bookstore hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. For more information, call Rosie Reeder at 262-2908.

Art briefs run Thursdays in the Clarion's Pulse section. The deadline for entries is 5 p.m. Monday. E-mail entries to news@peninsulaclarion.com.
