CPGH board members to meet

The Central Peninsula General Hospital, Inc. board of directors will meet at 4:30 p.m. today in the Iliamna Conference Room at Central Peninsula Hospital. It is open to the public. For more information, call Terri at 714-4721.

Archers take aim

The Alaska State Archers Association will conduct its Fourth of July 3-D target shoot at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday on North Arc Loop. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The shoot will be hosted by the Kenai Peninsula Archers. The cost is for $15 a day. A 100-yard split the pot shoot will be held.

There will be a barbecue including hamburgers, hotdogs, beans, salad, and drinks will be available for purchase. The cost is $8 a day. The event is open to archers and their families. For more information, call Penny Malmquist at 262-7375.

Dance fundraiser set to swing

A dance to benefit national high school rodeo finalists to compete at the national finals in Illinois will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the fairgrounds in Ninilchik. The price of admission is $3 per person. For more information, call Abi Daniels at (907) 567-3670.

God and country rally slated

The 16th annual God and Country Rally will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Soldotna High School Auditorium. The rally will include a color guard, service anthems by the “Passed on Brass” quartet, recording artist Cissy Padgett and guest speaker Jerry Murphy a retired Air Force pilot. The Red, White and Blue committee will receive donations of Alaska T-shirts and candy to be distributed by Alaskan personal. The rally was began as a way to honor soldiers and veterans as well as recognizing God’s blessing on America. For more information, call JD at 262-7416.
