Royer, Weisz announce nuptials
Danielle Royer of Newport Center, Vt., and David Allen Weisz Jr., of Kenai plan to marry Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, in Newport.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Diane Chaput and Daniel Royer of Newport Center. She is a 2003 graduate of North Country Union High School. She earned her associate's degree at Vermont Technology College for computer engineering technology in 2005. She earned a bachelor's degree in 2007 for computer networking management with Westwood College Online. Danielle is working for Three Bears Alaska Inc., as a corporate office manager and is working at MTA as a Level 1 DSL help support.
The future groom is the son of Traci and David Weisz Sr. and Lisa and Maurice Shultz, of Wasilla and Tok, respectively. He is a 2001 graduate of Kenai Central High School. He served four years in the United States Marines. David works for Three Bears Alaska Inc., as a buyer and supervisor.
The couple met where they are employed.
David proposed on the couple's one year anniversary, and surprised Danielle with "Will you marry me?" written with rose pedals after dinner.
