Light earthquake felt in Homer

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A light earthquake was felt in Homer late Wednesday morning.

Officials with the Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer said the quake occurred at 11:50 a.m. and was centered 70 miles southeast of Homer.

It had a preliminary magnitude of 5.4.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
