KENAI (AP) -- A Kenai couple pleaded innocent Wednesday to charges related to the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.

Charges against David W. Anderson, 27, and Dianna D. Eddens, 19, stem from a June 13 incident near Kenai Keys Road in Sterling.

Anderson, who is charged with first-degree sexual assault, is accused of raping the girl on the hood of his car while Eddens held the victim down. Eddens is charged with conspiracy.

At their arraignment in Kenai Superior Court Wednesday, Judge Harold Brown set separate trials for the week of Sept. 11. Anderson and Eddens are being held at Wildwood Pretrial in lieu of bail, which was set at $100,000 each.
