KETCHIKAN (AP) -- A 23-year-old Royal Caribbean cruise line employee reported she was sexually assaulted by two male co-workers as the cruise ship Infinity traveled through Chatham Strait earlier this week.

Royal Caribbean contacted the FBI when the woman reported the assault. The FBI notified Alaska State Troopers, who investigated the incident Thursday afternoon when the ship docked in Ketchikan.

Sgt. Kurt Ludwig said troopers conducted interviews while the ship was in port but did not make any arrests. The ship departed Ketchikan on Thursday night and the three employees remained on board, he said.

The facts surrounding the incident were not clear, Ludwig said, and troopers are continuing their investigation.
