God and Country Rally scheduled Sunday

The 10th annual God and Country Rally will be held in the Soldotna High School Auditorium July 1 at 6 p.m. This year's rally will feature HonorBound director Chuck Brewster, who spent more than 20 years with the Secret Service during the administrations of four presidents. He also served in the Air Force. He currently heads a national men's ministry and speaks at conferences and Promise Keepers events across the country.

Musical highlights will feature a group from Texas and the "Experiencing God" choir. The purpose of the rally is to recognize God's blessings on our nation and honor all veterans. This year also will feature a tribute to World War II veteran and former Kenai resident John Walsh.
