Former Kenai resident Barbara D. Garner died Thursday, June 26, 2003, at Dardanelle Hospital in Dardanelle, Ark. She was 56.
Mrs. Garner was laid to rest at the Chickalah Cemetery near her home in Chickalah, Ark.
Born Dec. 27, 1946, in Artesia, N.M., Mrs. Garner was a deputy clerk for the Yell Country District Courthouse. She also lived in Kenai for about 16 years.
Mrs. Garner is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert (Bob) Garner; daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Kerry Sutton and Jeannie and Ronny Grigsby, all of Dardanelle, and Krystal and Jocko Deal of Russellville, Ark.; mother, Reba Keesee of Dardanelle; father, Buck Keesee of Roswell, N.M.; brothers, Wayne Keesee of Dardanelle and Travis Keesee of Artesia; grandchildren, Angela and Shawn Sutton and Josh, Chris and Alexis Grigsby, all of Dardanelle, and Makayla Deal of Russellville; and many friends in Kenai, Soldotna and Nikiski.
Arrangements were made by Cornwell Funeral Home of Dardanelle.
