Area students named to dean's list

Six Kenai Peninsula students were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. To be named to the dean's list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.3 on 14 or more graded credits. The students included: Corinne Shaddock of Anchor Point; Amelia Robyn Marion and Stacy Ann Owens of Homer; Jayson M. BeDunnah of Kenai; and Sarah Ann Todd and Abigail Raye Zerbe of Soldotna.

Carrie G. Pattison and Evangeline Pattison, both of Nikiski, were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at George Fox University in Newberg, Ore. To be named to the dean's list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on 12 or more graded credits.

Carrie Pattison is a junior majoring in political science and international studies. Evangeline Pattison is a freshman majoring in organizational communication.

Mark A. Barnette of Kenai was named to the chancellor's list for the spring semester at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. To be named to the chancellor's list, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average.

Sara A. Covich of Kenai was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. To be named to the dean's list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5.

JoLynn Montgomery of Kenai earned highest honors designation on the dean's list for the spring semester at Boise State University. She is a senior in the health sciences studies program and earned a 4.0 grade point average.

Stacey Pault of Kenai was named to the dean's list for the 2002-03 school year at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo. To be named the dean's list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.75. Students named to the dean's list also are nominated for publication in "The National Dean's List" publication. Pault is a 2000 graduate of Kenai Central High School and is majoring in biomedical science. She is the daughter of Joe and Katie Pault of Kenai. In addition to being named to the dean's list, Pault also recently received a Cancer Federation Scholarship for the coming year.
