BALTIMORE Rodrigo Lopez allowed one run over 6 2-3 innings and the Baltimore Orioles battered Mike Mussina, ending the New York Yankees' eight-game winning streak with a 7-3 victory Tuesday night.
Melvin Mora homered and Tony Batista and B.J. Surhoff each drove in two runs for the Orioles, who snapped a five-game losing streak.

DETROIT Matt Roney allowed just one infield hit in seven innings to earn his first career win, pitching Detroit past Toronto.
The only hit off Roney (1-2) came with two outs in the second inning when Orlando Hudson hit a hard one-hopper that deflected off second baseman Shane Halter's glove for a single. Roney retired the next 16 batters before being lifted for Fernando Rodney.
Royals 6, Indians 3
KANSAS CITY, Mo. Jose Lima delivered another strong start and Joe Randa drove in a season-high four runs, leading Kansas City.
Lima (3-0) gave up five hits in seven innings. The right-hander, who signed a minor league contract on June 11 after starting the season with the independent Newark Bears, won his third straight start he had not done that since 1999 when he was an All-Star and a 21-game winner for Houston.
Lima gave up a leadoff triple to Coco Crisp, who scored on Matt Lawton's infield grounder. But Lima then allowed only one single until Lawton hit a towering 425-foot home run with two outs in the sixth.
White Sox 6, Twins 1
CHICAGO Frank Thomas homered and drove in three runs to help Mark Buehrle earned his fourth straight win as the Chicago White Sox defeated Minnesota.
Buehrle (6-10), a 19-game winner last season, gave up one run and eight hits in eight-plus innings, continuing his turnaround from a 2-10 start.
Devil Rays 4, Red Sox 3
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. Rocco Baldelli scored from second base on Brandon Lyon's errant pickoff throw with two outs in the bottom of the 11th inning Tuesday night, giving Tampa Bay Devil a win. Lance Carter (5-3) pitched three innings in relief to get the win. Lyon (3-5) replaced Byung-Hyun Kim at the start of the 11th. Baldelli reached on a fielder's choice and stole second before scoring the winning run.
Angels 7, Rangers 5
ANAHEIM, Calif. Bengie Molina hit a three-run homer off Ismael Valdes (6-5) and Troy Glaus added a solo shot as Anaheim beat Texas.
Jarrod Washburn (7-9) snapped a personal four-game losing streak despite allowing two homers to Michael Young and Alex Rodriguez's 21st home run of the season. Washburn allowed five runs and eight hits in 7 2-3 innings. Troy Percival got three outs for his 17th save.
Garret Anderson had an RBI double for the defending World Series champions.
